ere at The Jakarta Post, we are looking for information and opinions from experts in a variety of fields or others with appropriate writing skills. Bloggers are welcome.
We choose articles based on facts or personal experiences, tips, listicles or opinion on general news. The content must be an original on the following topics:
- Lifestyle (beauty, fashion, food, recipes)
- Entertainment (music, movie, celebrities)
- Science and technology
- Art and design
- Book review
- Health
- Travel
- Parenting
- Sports
Submissions on anything related to only one product/brand or written in an advertorial style will be rejected.
Send submissions to community@jakpost.com with the subject COMMUNITY.
For first-time submissions, please include a one line description, a short bio (three or four lines) and a picture of the writer.
As a community writer, you will not receive financial compensation. However, we will publish the URL to your blog or website and links to social media accounts. The URLs should be included in the short bio.
We reserve the right to edit submissions to adhere to our editorial standards, including by removing hyperlinks, and we reserve the right to decline requests to take down published articles.
