evin Spacey is under investigation in Britain for three more allegations of sexual assault, after London police received new complaints against the American actor, according to reports in British and international media.

Reports by the BBC, The Telegraph and Variety magazine confirm that three men came forward to the Metropolitan Police between February and April this year.

Two of the alleged assaults - in Lambeth in 2008 and in Gloucester in 2013 - date to Spacey's time as artistic director of the Old Vic theatre. Another allegation dates back to 1996 in Westminster.

In total, British police are investigating six allegations against Spacey. In January, the Met said it was looking into allegations of assault that occurred in 2005 and 2008 in the Lambeth area where The Old Vic is located. A third victim said he had been sexually assaulted by Spacey in 2005 in Westminster.

Dozens of men have come forward against Spacey, 58, since October last year, when actor Anthony Rapp accused the older man of trying to seduce him in 1986, when Rapp was only 14 and Spacey was 26.
