The Tag Heuer boutique in Senayan City shopping mall, Central Jakarta, is hosting an exhibition themed "Museum in Motion" until July 15.
Tag Heuer Indonesia brand manager Rommy Djunaedi said during a press viewing event on Wednesday that "Museum in Motion" is a traveling exhibition to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the iconic Carrera watch.
Prior to arriving in Indonesia, the collection was exhibited in various countries, including Dubai, Hungary, Singapore and Malaysia.
“We are proud to have the opportunity to [hold] 'Museum in Motion' exhibition in Jakarta,” said Rommy.
In Indonesia, "Museum of Motion" exhibits 19 watches from the 1960s to late 1980s.
In addition to showcasing vintage Carrera timepieces, "Museum of Motion" also displays the luxury brand’s other classic models, such as the 1969 Heuer Autavia, 1968 Heuer Skipper and 1968 Heuer Camaro.
However, Rommy said the collection was only for display and it would be returned to the Tag Heuer Museum in Switzerland after the exhibition ended. (wng)
