Summer of 2018 is indeed a time for celebrating music, as many international acts are making their way to Southeast Asia.
From a concert held by a British electronic music band to a summer party featuring a member of The Black Eyed Peas, here are four upcoming shows not to miss in the region:
Fergie, Mark Ronson, Liam Payne and Il Divo’s Sébastien Izambard
In a summer party like no other, Mulia Bali is set to bring in The Black Eyed Peas member Fergie, British musician and DJ Mark Ronson, One Direction star Liam Payne, and Il Divo’s Sébastien Izambard to RAPTURE - Mulia Summer Party.
The event is to be held on Sept. 1 at Mulia Bali starting from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. Ticket reservations can be made at www.muliarapture.com but do note this event is only for ages 18 and above.
Clean Bandit
Hailing from Britain, electronic music band Clean Bandit is set to perform the I Miss You tour on Aug. 20 at 8 p.m. at The Kasablanka Hall, Mall Kota Kasablanka, South Jakarta.
Two types of tickets are offered with a limited amount of presale tickets for each category. Unfortunately, tickets for presale ended on July 4 but concertgoers can still purchase the normal tickets, which start from Rp 800,000 (US$55.63), online.

Chance the Rapper
Singapore will see Grammy award-winning rap prodigy Chance the Rapper on Aug. 25 as part of his Summer 2018 Asia Run. Originating from Chicago, Illinois, this breakout stars’ show in Singapore will begin at 8 p.m. at ZEPP@BIGBOX.
Brought by LAMC Productions, tickets stand at S$158 (US$116) and can be officially purchased online or via hotline through the show’s official ticketing agent, SISTIC.
Mike Shinoda
Another act set to perform in Singapore is multitalented artist and member of Linkin Park, Mike Shinoda. Set to perform as part of his Post Traumatic tour, the rapper and producer show will take place on Aug. 22 at 8 p.m. at ZEPP@BIGBOX.
Having received international accolades for his craftsmanship, this is Shinoda’s first tour as a solo artist.
General tickets stand at S$148 with a group package (minimum purchase of three tickets) standing at S$138. Tickets can be purchased via online or offline ticket vendors through SISTIC. (anm/kes)
