ndonesian startup Solve Education! is one of 30 finalists that has been chosen to compete in the Next Billion EdTech Prize, a contest that recognizes technological innovations in education for low-income and emerging economies.

According to a statement, the finalists will compete in a pitch contest at the 2019 Global Education and Skills Forum (GESF) in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, from March 22 to 24.

Six of the startups will be selected to compete in the grand final where the top three winners will be awarded US$25,000 each, while the overall winner will receive the Next Billion Prize trophy.

"The Next Billion Prize was named to remind the world of the billion young people – a number that is growing every day – that are being denied an education that allows them to make the most of their talents," the statement reads.
