Foo Fighters hint at return of 'Jam' festival
The "Wasting Light" rockers are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their formation in 1994.

arlier this February, Foo Fighters announced their plan to tour the same venues that they did on their first North American tour in support of their 1995 self-titled debut album.
The 15-date trek, dubbed "The Van Tour," will kick off on April 12 at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona, with additional gigs in Oklahoma, Knoxville, Cincinnati and Cleveland.
In addition to hitting the road, Foo Fighters recently teased the return of their self-curated "Jam" festival.
Dave Grohl and his bandmates held two editions of the festival in 2017 and 2018 in San Bernardino, California, where they notably shared the stage with rock acts like Queens of the Stone Age, Cage the Elephant, The Kills and Iggy Pop with Post Pop Depression.
The band recently posted on social media a flashing animation that read "DC Jam," alongside the caption "coming soon."
Details about the event are still scarce to this date, as the rockers still have to announce an official date for the potential third iteration of "Cal Jam."
Meanwhile, Grohl recently confirmed that the much-anticipated follow-up to 2017's "Concrete and Gold" was on its way.

"We just finished making a record. There's a riff on the new record that I've been working on for 25 fucking years -- first time I demoed it was in my basement in Seattle, and every record I'm like, 'Ooh, let's put it on,' but it didn't work," he told The Bill Simmons Podcast, without revealing when the band's tenth studio album would be released.
The Foo Fighters frontman also opened up about his forthcoming documentary "What Drives Us," in which the musician will allude to touring giants like Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, Metallica and The Beatles, among others.
"The movie's not so much about, like, really awesome van tour anecdotes - which it is, there are many -- but it's really more about the drive to do it .... You starve and bleed and you're sick and you're pissed and you get taken to jail and get in fights and blah blah -- but you always get to the next gig. Like, you always get to the next gig. So you'd be surprised, everybody has the same story, and it is absolutely a key to success," he explained, without sharing a release date for the film.
