Pos Indonesia to spend 6 times more on investment next year

State postal service provider PT Pos Indonesia will allocate Rp 600 billion (US$ 63.6 million) to its capital expenditure next year, about six times more than in 2009. "This year the capex is less than Rp 100 billion," Pos Indonesia president director I Ketut Mardjana told reporters after a hearing meeting between the House of Representatives and State Minister of State Enterprises Mustafa Abubakar in Jakarta on late Thursday. He said the capex would be financed from its internal budget and some loans from banks. "We have talked with several banks. They seem agree to give loans to us because we have no bad debts," I Ketut said, refusing to elaborate which banks. Pos Indonesia will use the capex funds to finance the improvement of Information Technology (IT) services, the restoration of buildings and the revitalization of post office branches throughout the country. ...
