Kang Ibing was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital, said an Al Islam official, as quoted by Antara.
Ibing’s son Dikdik Kusmadi said he received a telephone call informing that his father had fallen and was unconscious.

Dikdik said he tried to revive his father in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. “I tried to shake his body but had no response. At the hospital, the doctor said that has passed away” he said.

Kang Ibing was born in Sumedang, West Java, on June 20, 1946.

Ibing was active in the Sundanese art scene and was most famous for his work as part of the comedy group D’Kabayan, along with Aom Kusman and Suryana Fatah. — JP
