span class="caption" style="width: 398px;">JP/Wendra AjistyatamaJAKARTA: Old school local rock band God Bless may cancel their planned Java Jazz Festival performance this March because of their bass player’s heart condition.

Donny Fattah Gagola underwent heart surgery last week. He is currently recovering at Harapan Kita Hospital in Jakarta.

“Our closest performance scheduled is Java Jazz. We were initially supposed to rehearse tomorrow,” guitarist Ian Antono said Monday as quoted by tribunnews.com.

Java Jazz is slated to be held from March 2 to 4 in Jakarta.
