(Kapanlagi.com/Deni Mulyadi)Filmmaker Joko Anwar is working on a new movie, slated to hit the screen early next year.

'It's a satire about the last wedding on earth. I'm finalizing the script,' Joko said in Jakarta on Tuesday.

The plot tells of a man who dreams of becoming a filmmaker but ends up being a wedding videographer instead.

'At one point he covers a disastrous wedding party, after which nobody wants weddings anymore,' he said, adding that the movie would have a budget of Rp 5 billion (US$514,000).

Joko said that he would start the movie production in September and expected to release it in February.

'The project has just won an award in Hong Kong recently, so I'm very excited,' he said.
