We can see that our Internet network service is bad and we can't depend on it.

Meanwhile, many Indonesian people do not have Twitter and email accounts.

Yohanes Marino

It can be effective if the government follows up the public complaints and makes changes for the better.

It goes without saying that the Presidential unit should work for better services to the public.

Nevertheless, it will be useless if the government does not offer a solution for those public complaints.

I really hope our government can use this media to listen to public complaints and improve services to all people.

Einstein's 'relativity' theory tells you whatever in this universe is relative.

The same with the effectiveness of SMS email and Twitter accounts set up by the Presidential work unit. The answer is 'relative'.

The decision of a Presidential work unit to set up SMS, email and Twitter accounts so that the members of the general public, particularly in Jakarta, can send complaints on public services will be effective if the government soon responds and takes meaningful actions about public complaints.

However, I think it's also a good idea to use modern technology in order to establish and streamline an effective communication between Pak SBY with his people.

I hope Pak SBY will be more concerned to improve all public services in the country including in Jakarta

There is no need for President SBY to establish new social media accounts to collect public complaints. The more channels available will only accumulate thousands of complaints, which will remain unresolved.

The SMS-account was set up years ago but any matter posed received only a thank you note.

Up to now many crucial public and state matters are still waiting for a definite decision, hence additional problems reported through various accounts are an unnecessary additional burden.
