This trend is occurring because the government fails to be fair regulator among believers. Too slow in mediating conflicts in society, with the tendency to lean toward the side they mistake as being the voice of the 'majority'.

I agree with the statement on the last paragraph. Therefore, the government needs to establish fair laws to promote equality among citizens and uphold it.

It needs to govern this nation as the multicultural nation that the founding fathers envisaged.
