München Chamber Ensemble, a German professional choir group, will perform for free in Jakarta and Bandung on May 14 and 16, respectively.

The ensemble members are freelance singers who come from Bavaria and southern Germany.  The singers will bring international experience after joining a number of professional choir groups, including Bayerischer Rundfunk, Collegium Vocale Gent, Stuttgart Chamber Ensemble and RIAS Berlin.

During their Indonesian visit, the ensemble will present religious motet, psalms, madrigalz and folk songs.
In Jakarta, they will perform at Aula Simfonia Jakarta on Jl. Industri Blok B14 Kav 1 in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta; while in Bandung a performance is slated for Maranatha Christian University's campus at Jl. Prof. Drg. Suria Sumantri No.65. Visit goethe.de for further information.

Dance

After the success of Boxe Boxe in 2011, Institut Français d'Indonésie's Printemps Français will present the latest work of Mourad Merzouki in Jakarta and Bandung.

Merzouki has practiced martial arts and acrobatics since he was just seven years old. His encounter with urban culture has driven his interest in dance. He is a prominent figure in contemporary art in France and holds the position of director of the Centre Choréographique National.

Yo Gee Ti, which draws together hip-hop dancers from France and Taiwan, is a collaboration that featured energetic yet soft body language beyond the grips and limits of movement.

It will be performed at the Graha Bhakti Budaya at Taman Ismail Marzuki in Jakarta and Teater in Taman Budaya in Bandung. Visit institutfrancais-indonesia.com for further information.
