Menara defeated WPP India XI in the "Plate" finals of the Apple Coal JCA League 2012-13, to lift the trophy for the third time.

At Cibubur, Menara comfortably beat WPP by five wickets to be crowned the Plate Champions for the season 2012-2013. Sent in to bat first, WPP was reasonably placed at 54/3 in 12 overs before Menara's bowlers - lead by man of the match Atul Kakkar (three wickets for 16 runs and Rikesh Parikh (three wickets for 28 runs) - bowled the opposition out for 127 runs in 26 overs. Pallav Malhotra was the only batsman who provided resistance at the top of the order with a well made 52. Manu Gaurav Pathak chipped in with a useful 25 at the lower end.

Menara's run chase was spearheaded by its big guns Ishaq Mohhammed (35) and Yogish Lad (31) with the ever dependent Maheshji remaining unbeaten on 16 runs. Menara made 60/3 in 12 overs, before reaching the victory target with more than seven overs to spare. Adrain Lee was the best WPP bowler, taking one wicket for 13 runs.
