ogor is set to build three large-scale park-and-ride sites to easily connect with terminals and stations in a bid to reduce the number of vehicles entering Jakarta.

Bogor Transportation Agency head Suharto said on Wednesday that the parking lots would be built at Bogor Station, Baranangsiang Terminal and the newest Sukaresmi Station, which is still under construction.

'We will soon finish the parking lot design,' he was quoted as saying by kompas.com during an event at Le Meridien Hotel in Jakarta.

Suharto also suggested more public transportation was needed to connect Bogor with many areas in Jakarta.

The feeder service connects Bogor and Rawamangun in East Jakarta and will be expanded to Tanah Abang in Central Jakarta as well as to Blok M in South Jakarta.
