very time I pass through the toll gate in Kayu Besar 1 and 2 in West Jakarta, which is near the Golf Lake Residence area, between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., I notice that one toll gate is always closed to motorists despite heavy traffic and long lines.
I wonder whether the toll road management is aware of the situation.
At first I thought that perhaps one of the staff members were sick or had been late for work but it seems that neither of those scenarios was the case as that gate remains closed almost every day.
What puzzles me the most is that there are always a few staff members hanging around while their colleagues work.
I have observed that other toll road operators such as PT. Jasa Marga open all the gates to motorists during the same hours in question.
I see no reason why PT Jakarta Lingkar Baratsatu, this toll road operator, cannot do the same. For this reason, I am urging the toll operator to rectify the situation so that motorists do not have to be held up unnecessarily.
