Rev. Franz Magnis Suseno, a philosopher and renowned Jesuit priest, has sent a letter to the Appeal of Conscience Foundation (ACF), objecting to its plans to bestow its World Statesman Award on President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono for promoting religious tolerance in Indonesia.

Your comments:

I agree! This President has done nothing to protect minorities in this country. Things are getting worse by the day and all he cares about are his own popularity and his corrupt Democrat party.

 Mumbul

Mr. President should realize the true extent of religious intolerance in this country. There are a lot of religious intolerance cases in this country. He has to realize that he does not deserve to get the award.

Julvandi Purba

This rabbi must be the greatest clown for nominating SBY for an award for religious tolerance.
