his year's IPA event featured a new attraction, the Oil and Gas Theme Park and Mini Drilling Site, which gave visitors a glimpse of daily life at a mining site.
The park featured samples of all the different types of pipes and heavy equipment that are used at mining sites, including a portable waste water treatment machine that transforms effluent to clean water. Staff were on hand to explain to visitors about the types of equipment as well as the implementation of health and work safety regulations on site.
Groups of students marveled at the huge displays and the presentations. Nurlaila, a third-grade teacher at SDN 4 Cikini elementary school in Jakarta, brought 36 students to the theme park area, which she vouched gave the students a better understanding on the importance of conserving energy.
