ctor Ari Wibowo was subjected to two hours of questioning on Monday at the South Jakarta Police precinct after hitting an 80-year-old man, named Tjasmadi, with his motorbike.

'He [Ari] is still a witness in the case,' South Jakarta Traffic Police chief Comr. Sutimin said on Tuesday as quoted by tempo.co.

Sutimin said the police were also questioning other witnesses who saw the accident. 'We will decide later whether Ari remains a witness or becomes a suspect in the case.'

Ari, who was riding his Ducati motorbike on Monday, hit Tjasmadi on Jl. Wolter Monginsidi in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. Tjasmadi, who suffered injuries to his head and legs, underwent surgery at the Pertamina Hospital in Jakarta on Monday.
