police official said a resident had spotted a suspicious bag behind theGrand Indonesia shopping mall in Central Jakarta and had reported it to thepolice.
'The bag has a padlock on it. Right now, our bomb dismantling unit is in the middle of finding out what is in the bag,' Central Jakarta
Police chief Sr. Comr. AR Yoyol said as quoted by Antara news agency on Wednesday.
He said another team was also investigating the scene, asking the public for more information on who was carrying the bag.
The police also investigated a suspicious bag left at the front of the Attorney General's Office (AGO) in Bulungan, South Jakarta on
May 24, but found it to contain no explosive materials. (hrl/dic)
