The police questioned an internet café operator accused of sexually abusing a 12-year-old elementary school student in Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, on Monday.

"Two investigators are still questioning R, who is being held as a suspect in the case. But they haven't questioned the victim yet because he is still very traumatized by the incident," East Jakarta Police spokesman Comr. Didik Haryadi told The Jakarta Post here on Tuesday.

Didik said that according to the victim's report, he was forced to perform oral sex on the suspect in the restroom at the internet café.

The report said that the victim had stopped at the café to take shelter from the rain on his way to school on Jl. Malaka Sari, Duren Sawit.

After the incident, the victim was reportedly given an umbrella and Rp 10,000 (US$1) to go to school, said Didik.

He added the victim was accompanied by a teacher who had questioned the student's tardiness on the day of the alleged incident when he filed the report.
