Media conglomerate MNC Group is set to purchase ANTV television from Bakrie Group's PT Visi Media Asia (VIVA).
MNC Group director David Fernando Audy said as quoted by kontan.co.id that he expected the deal to be finalized at the end of June.
A source quoted by Reuters said that MNC would pay US$500 million for the deal.
The source added that the Bakrie Group needed the money to refinance its assets at Bumi Plc after a failed joint-venture with Nat Rothschild.
