ndonesia's largest brewer PT Multi Bintang Indonesia (MLBI) plans to expand its business abroad in a bid to accommodate increasing demand from its international customers.
MLBI president commissioner Cosmos Batubara said that Australia, Japan and Korea were markets that had shown an interest in its famous Bir Bintang (Bintang Beer) product.
"Foreign tourist arrivals in Indonesia keep increasing, so does demand from these tourists for our product. Besides, we have always wanted to export this product because we want the international market to recognize us," Cosmos said in Jakarta on Wednesday as quoted by kontan.co.id. (nfo)
