AKARTA: Actress and singer Maudy Ayunda is back.

After being on hiatus for a couple of years to pursue higher education, actress and singer Maudy Ayunda is ready to return to the big screen.

Her upcoming film is Trinity, The Nekad Traveler (Trinity, the Reckless Traveler), which was adapted from a novel of the same name by popular travel enthusiast Trinity

“This is going to be a special film because it will symbolize my comeback in the entertainment industry,” Maudy told kompas.com recently.

Aside from her busy schedule, Maudy added that the reason she not appeared in any films in the past few years was because no role had interested her.

 In her upcoming movie, Maudy plays the lead character, Trinity .

“It’s an honor to play Trinity’s character. This will be the first role I play that is based on a real person. It’s quite a challenge and I hope I don’t disappoint,” she concluded. — JP
