Four die as cab plunges into pool in Tanjung Priok

anjung Priok Police have retrieved the bodies of four passengers of a Sepakat taxi that plunged into a pool at Pier 004 at Tanjung Priok Port, North Jakarta, early on Monday morning.
"Currently, we are searching for the taxi driver aside from preparing a crane to remove the car from the pool," Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Awi Setiyono said as quoted by Antara news agency on Monday.
The victims were identified as Heriyansyah, Medi, Yusarmanto and M. Amin Hudori, all crewmen of the Totot II Jambi and Yang Viti I Jakarta vessels that are currently docked at the seaport.
Eyewitnesses said the taxi driver apparently did not see the pool due to heavy rain at the time of the incident. (dmr)
