T

wo senior citizens traveled 2,000 kilometers from Medan in North Sumatra to Bogor in West Java just to see King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Dhani and Herrydobe, both 65, boarded a ship from Medan and arrived in Bogor on Wednesday morning just hours before the arrival of the Saudi king.

“I intentionally came here to see King Salman at Bogor Palace,” Dhani told kompas.com.

She hopes the king’s visit will deliver positive results to the country on various issues such as the economy and issues related to the haj.

The two women were part of thousands of well-wishers who made long lines leading to Bogor Palace where the king met President Joko Widodo on Wednesday afternoon. (vny)
