A two-story house in Sawangan, Depok, burned down on Thursday.
Depok Fire and Rescue Agency head Gandara Budiana said in a statement that the fire, which started at approximately 11:50 a.m., was caused by a short circuit.
“We deployed four fire trucks and 17 firefighters to put out the blaze,” said Gandara as quoted by kompas.com.
The fire was put out approximately 30 minutes after firefighters arrived on the scene. There were no casualties in the incident, while losses were still being calculated. (jlm)
