ost and actor Deddy Mahendra Desta has said that he has become close to President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo because he has had the opportunity to interview the Indonesian leader on several occasions.
“It can be said that we know each other already,” Desta said as quoted by tribunnews.com.
Initially, Desta said it was difficult for him to meet Jokowi due to the President’s tight schedule.
“After several attempts, I got a call saying that the President was free,” Desta said.
After his first interview with Jokowi, Desta met with Jokowi on several separate occasions and from their meetings, he learned about the President’s love for pets.
“He loves to feed his pets and he remembers the names of all of his pets. He has a goat, fish and many more. He does everything by himself,” Desta said.
