Soccer player Egy Maulana Vikri, who has just turned 18, has officially joined Poland’s Lechia Gdansk to play professionally until June 30, 2021, with the option of extending for another two years, the club announced it on its website lechia.pl.
The young player has been training with the white-and-green team since the beginning of the preparatory period, during which he took part in clusters in Cetniewo and Opalenica.
Prior to his move to Poland, Egy attended a number of soccer schools in Indonesia, namely the Tasbi Soccer School Club in Medan, North Sumatra, as well as the ASIOP Apacinti Soccer Academy and Ragunan Athletes Academy in Jakarta.
Egy is a member of the Indonesian soccer youth squad and is set to join the Indonesian Under-19 national team on Thursday for the 2018 ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) Championships semifinal against Malaysia.
