A Korean Festival will be held by Palembang United K-Pop Lovers Indonesia (UKLI) in Palembang, South Sumatera on Sunday, which supported by Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE), the South Korea Embassy in Indonesia and the Indonesian Korean Cultural Center (KCCI)
Korean Festival will be held by Palembang United K-Pop Lovers Indonesia (UKLI) in Palembang, South Sumatera on Sunday, which supported by Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE), the South Korea Embassy in Indonesia and the Indonesian Korean Cultural Center (KCCI).
The event, also held in support for the 2018 Asian Games, is going to be held at Palembang Sport & Convention Center (PSCC), where the games would also take place.
Various activities include traditional Korean dance performances
“Buchaechum”, K-Pop dance and sing cover, as well as cultural activities at the Indonesian Cultural Center booth to promote various Korean cultures and support the success of the 2018 Asian Games Jakarta-Palembang.
With the theme “Hallyu Come On!” the programs are designed by KOFICE in order to promote and share the information about Korean culture, specifically Hallyu or the Korean wave. In addition, it aims to increase understanding and friendship with the nations of the world.
