As a U-shaped skeleton and pier head for the light rail transit’s (LRT) Cawang-Dukuh Atas corridor is currently being installed along the southern section of Jl. Gatot Subroto in front of the Smesco building, the Jakarta Transportation Agency has announced traffic diversions from Oct. 6 to 13, to ease congestion in the area. The agency has advised drivers coming from Cawang, Kalibata and Tebet heading to Kuningan to use Jl. Supomo, Jl. Casablanca and Jl. HR Rasuna Said or Jl. Pasar Minggu and Jl. Duren Tiga Raya, with the exception of cars entering the toll road via the Tebet 1 tollgate.(JP/Umair Rizaludin)
