stray bullet reportedly struck lawmaker Wenny Warouw’s office located in the House of Representatives complex's Nusantara I building, Central Jakarta, on Monday.
His office is located on the 16th floor of the building.
"The incident took place at around 2.35 p.m.," the Gerindra Party politician said.
Wenny had been inside his office with reverend Roring and police officer Adj. Sr. Comr. Ronald when the bullet went through the window, traveling only 10 centimeters above Roring’s head, according to the lawmaker.
A similar incident occurred at lawmaker Bambang Heri Purnama's office. The Golkar Party politician's office is located on 13th floor of the same building.
Tanah Abang Police chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Lukman Cahyono said his officers were investigating both scenes. (vla/nfr)
