Dutch lighting company Signify, formerly known as Philips Lighting, is currently holding an exhibition in Jakarta to showcase for the first time in Indonesia its latest lighting technology, Interact IoT (Internet of Things).The exhibition, called “City of Light”, is being held at Senayan City in Jakarta and runs until Jan. 13.Rami Hajjar, the country leader of Signify operations in Indonesia, said in Jakarta on Monday that the Interact IoT lighting technology enabled its professional customers to unlock the full potential of connected lighting for the IoT.Interact puts sensors and chips into lights and lighting infrastructure to detect information such as room occupancy, road traffic and air quality.
