The Galaxy S10 Plus smartphone might be the perfect gadget for people who like to take photos for personal enjoyment and pleasure without having to carry large and expensive cameras.

The smartphone comes with five different cameras, with three of them set in the rear.

The main camera is a 12MP with a 1/2.55-inch sensor of 1.4um pixels and an f/1.5-2.4 lens. It has dual pixel PDAF and optical image stabilization (OIS) features, which produces less blurry images and smoother videos.

The second is also a 12MP with a 1/2.6-inch sensor of 1um pixel. It serves telephoto purposes with a 2x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom capacity for long-range objects through a 52mm-f/2.4 lens as well as autofocus and OIS features.

The third is 16MP with a 12mm ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens.

On the front area, the smartphone features 10MP and 8MP cameras, both functioning as a depth sensor to secure a better depth of field.

The front and rear cameras are capable of making video recordings of ultra high definition (UHD) quality, whereas the rear cameras are able to produce video recordings of up to the range of HDR 10+.

Apart from the capacity to produce the best photos in a bright condition, the smartphone also displays prime performance under minimal lighting, thanks to the dual-pixel feature of its wide angle lenses along with two aperture openings, which make adjustments to lighting conditions in surrounding areas.

The Galaxy S10 Plus has also complemented its cameras with the support of artificial intelligence (AI) features, such as Scene Optimizer for greater accuracy in picture processing, Shot Suggestion for automatic composition recommendations for picture framing and Smart Composition.

There is also the live focus feature that comes with the ability to enhance blur, monotone light, zoom and spin effects to create more artistic and dramatic photos.

The plethora of camera features of the S10 Plus considerably helps photography hobbyists who want to take gorgeous pictures without having to learn the basics of photography.

Casual users can easily operate cameras, even much more easily than maneuvering pocket cameras, which are already out of date. Just get the smartphone ready, choose the object to be taken, wait for the right moment, set the features wanted and then snap.

A great, well composed photo is thus produced and if desired, it can be edited through the editing application. After editing, users can share the photo on their social media pages or directly to families, friends or even colleagues.

For professional photographers, however, the Galaxy S10 Plus cameras are still not enough to replace expertise, experience and a set of professional cameras.
