Prabowo supporters to hit streets on May 22 despite terrorism alert

Supporters of losing presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto are still planning to take to the streets to challenge the election results, despite a warning from security officials that the rally could become the target of a terrorist attack. M. Roni, who coordinated a “Jihad Tour” package service for those coming from East Java, said on Saturday that some participants had already departed for Jakarta to participate in a street protest at the General Elections Commission (KPU) building on May 22, when the KPU is expected to announce the victory of incumbent President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo.    As of Saturday, the KPU finished tabulating votes in 28 of 34 provinces nationally.
