Check local calendar

If a tourist wishes to enjoy a specific festivity in Japan, it would be better to check the local calendar before going. For example, people who want to enjoy the hanami or flower viewing season should consider planning their trip in early April, while those interested to enjoy the tanabata or star festival may want to travel in July.

It is important to take note that the voltage in Japan is 100 volts and electricity plugs are of the parallel flat-two pin type. While packing, make sure you include a universal adapter to be able to easily charge all your devices. (kes)
