tambua in Belu regency, East Nusa Tenggara, is set to host the Atambua International Motocross 2017 on August 12-13 at Haliwen Atambua Circuit.
Racers from the city of Atambua, Timor Leste and Australia are reportedly joining the event.

Reaching the venue is relatively easy as it only takes 30 minutes from the Mota’ain border post and five minutes from Atambua's Haliwen Airport. The provincial administration has also prepared public minivans that will bring visitors to the location for only Rp 5,000 (less than 50 US cents). Plenty of car rentals are also available in Atambua.
Atambua International Motocross 2017 is part of Belu regency's efforts to attract more tourists and market the region as a destination for cross-border and sports tourism. (kes)
