“If we become more tech-savvy like Japan, China and the US, hopefully Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, ranked 44th on the list of the World's Top 100 Airports, can jump up to the 30th spot next year and take 15th the year after that,” added Sumadi.

The president director of PT Angkasa Pura II, Muhammad Awaludin, is currently working on realizing the company’s mission to be “the best-connected airport in the region.”

In going digital, PT AP II will emphasize three main elements, namely customer experience, operational systems efficiency and effectiveness and business model.
