/ Short Bio

Afu describes her work as ‘moving the needle towards a just and circular economy’. As a researcher, she explores topics in the intersection of the economy and the environment, including carbon pricing instruments, land and energy transition, as well as climate resilience. As an activist, she speaks up in various platforms to increase the awareness and ambition for climate action. She also co-founded Think Policy, a community-driven enterprise for young professionals to build the skills and network required to improve policy making process in Indonesia.

Afu's has a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University. She recently published her first book ‘Menjadi‘, which promotes critical thinking, both inwards (self-awareness) and outwards (social issues) through scientific frameworks and her own personal journey.
