I’m a multi award-winning Indonesian documentary filmmaker and an experienced mis/disinformation investigator.
My long documentary debut “Tano Na Uli, Hagodanganki (Motherland Memories)” won the Best Indonesian Feature-Length Documentary Prize at the 21st Yogyakarta Documentary Film Festival (also known as Festival Film Dokumenter or FFD), a major Asian documentary festival, in 2022.
I have more than 5 years of experience as a mis/disinformation investigator, working as a fact-checker for the global news agency AFP.
I’m a Chevening alumni with an MA in Ethnographic and Documentary Film from University College London (UCL).
I’ve been a multimedia journalist since 2016 with stints at domestic and international news outlets covering environment, politics, and law.
My areas of interest are: indigenous people, environment, gig economy, religious diversity in Indonesia, information disorder, OSINT, documentary filmmaking, and experimental journalism.
