edi Mulyadi, SH was born in Subang on April 11, 1971. He spent his elementary and junior high school years in the town where he was born.
He pursued elementary education at SD Sukabakti elementary school and graduated in 1984. He attended SMP Negeri Kalijati junior high school in 1987and in 1990 and then continued his study at Purwadadi state senior high school. While being involved in various organizations, he pursued higher education at the Purnawarman School of Law (STH Purnawarman) and completed his study in 1999.
The energetic and principled young man, who thought carefully and did the right thing, was actively involved in various organizations. In 1994, he was Chairman the Purwakarta chapter of the Islamic Students Association (HMI) and also Chairman of STH Purnawarman’s Student Association.
In 1997, he was Deputy Chairman of All-Indonesia Workers Union (DPS SPSI) and Secretary of the Confederation of Indonesian Workers Unions (PP SPSK KSPI) in 1998. In 1998, he became Deputy Secretary of the Purwakarta chapter of the Golkar Party.
In 2002 he became Deputy Chairman the Communication Forum of Indonesian Veterans' Children (GM FKPPI), and in the same year became Chairman of PC Pemuda Muslimin Indonesia and Secretary of the Purwakarta Chapter of the Islamic Students Alumni Association (KAHMI).
His organization career in the Golkar Party reached its peak when he became Chairman of the Purwakarta Golkar Regional Representatives Council (DPD). Following becoming a member of the Purwakarta Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD), in 2003 he was elected as the Purwakarta Deputy Regent along with Drs. H. Lily Hambali, Msi as Purwakarta Regent until 2008. In the same year, he joined the Regional Elections (Pilkada), a direct election, and won the election, with Drs. H. Dudung B. Supardi, MM as his deputy. In 2012, he was reelected as the regent with Drs. H. Dadan Koswara as deputy regent until today.
His political career rose once again in 2010 when he was elected as Secretary General of the West Java chapter of the Golkar Party. However, his family is his top priority. He married Anne Ratna Mustika and is blessed with two children, Ahmad Habibie Bungsu Maula Akbar and Yudistira Manunggaling Rahmaning Hurip.
