PT MRT Jakarta welcomed on April 4 at Tanjung Priok port, North Jakarta, its first two sets of MRT trains, each of which has 12 cars. The long-awaited trains were delivered by Panama-flagged vessel Ellensborg, which departed from Toyohashi port, Japan, on March 7. There are another 14 trains expected to arrive at Tanjung Priok Port in October, which will operate on the first MRT line that will connect Lebak Bulus in South Jakarta to Hotel Indonesia traffic circle in Central Jakarta.
