AKARTA: Private airline Batavia Air began Thursday a new route linking Singapore and Pontianak in West Kalimantan.
The airline operates the route with an Airbus A319, spokesman Eddy Haryanto said in a statement.
Batavia Air flight 7P-872 leaves Singapore at 10:35 a.m. local time (9:35 a.m. Jakarta time) and arrives at 11:00 a.m. The aircraft returns to Singapore at 1:25 p.m.
The service is available Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
"We are the first and only airline to serve the Singapore-Pontianak route," Eddy said in the statement.
