AKARTA: The Jakarta Transportation Agency says it will reroute traffic in North Jakarta to make way for repair work on Pluit Bridge starting on Wednesday.
Agency head Udar Pristono said on Tuesday that the rerouting was aimed at reducing traffic congestion during the project’s duration.
“Motorists are advised to follow signs and directions from our workers,” Pristono said. However, he did not say how long the project would last.
Motorists going from Jl. Gedong Panjang heading for Jl. Jembatan Tiga will be directed to Jl. Bakti and Jl. Pluit Raya. Those going from Jl. Jembatan Tiga heading for Jl. Pluit Raya, Jl. Muara Baru and Jl. Gedong Panjang will be directed to Jl. Pluit Selatan.
