AKARTA: University of Indonesia (UI) activists visited the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) office on Monday to report rector Gumilar Rusliwa Somantri for alleged corruption and acceptance of a gratuity.
“We have come here with the results of our investigation to report indications of state losses caused by the rector of the University of Indonesia,” spokesman to the activists, Ade Armando, said as quoted by tribunnews.com.
Among the UI activists were the university’s political communication professor, Effendi Gazali, a number of lecturers and representatives of its Students Executive Body.
