When it comes to making decisions, TV host, actress and model Marissa Leufke Nasution prefers to take her time.

As a result, the 27-year-old, initially known for hosting Indonesia'€™s MTV channel, is selective about taking jobs and sharing her personal life publicly.

'€œSometimes you get a [job] offer and at first it sounds really interesting. But I usually sleep over it just to be sure. In the morning, I can usually decide whether the job is worth taking or not,'€ said Marissa on the sidelines of a press conference for the launch of Magnum Infinity ice cream.

She took up the offer of the launch as the event was carried out with a fashion show concept, something she loves.

'€œEach model in the fashion show will be adorned with arty clothing and accessories, including hair pieces. I'€™ll wear an outfit with a wing adornment and the dress will flow gracefully,'€ said Marissa, who is of German descent.

'€œI believe the night will be perfect because a top fashion designer, an accessory designer and a chocolate expert will take part. I'€™ll just follow their lead.'€

Marissa runs Doll House clothing and a shoe line with her sister. The brand'€™s stores are available in Jakarta and Bali.

Besides being part of the ice cream brand'€™s campaign and being busy with her business, Marissa is also seen regularly in a gossip show, Insert, on TV.

She'€™s picky about taking roles in soap operas or movies.

'€œI don'€™t take many jobs because now I get tired easily. I used to take part in soap operas, but now I'€™m focusing on feature films and hosting shows, which I found more enjoyable,'€ she said.

Personally, she prefers to host off-air events as during live shows there was the risk of problems with cameras or even with the crowd, which made her uneasy.

'€œI prefer to host shows that I can handle, or that comfort me,'€ said the star of Get Married 2 (2009) and 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa (99 Lights in the Sky of Europe, 2013).

She admitted she wasn'€™t really into sport, but to keep up her stamina, she swam at least once a week if she found the time.

Marissa believes having enough sleep, drinking enough water and green tea, and good bodily hygiene help her daily activities. She also consumes healthy food and takes vitamin supplements to stay healthy.

'€œI'€™m a really simple person. I don'€™t go to the hair salon often and I do manicures and pedicures myself,'€ she says. Marissa also said she liked to discuss any job offers with her boyfriend.

'€œWell, it'€™s more him giving me advice, actually. Our partners usually know us well, so [advice on a job offer] is a gesture that shows they really care for us,'€ she said.

She declined to disclose her future plans in her personal life, saying she was quite conservative when talking about marriage.

'€œI have to be 100 percent sure about my feelings before making an important decision [like marriage]. I don'€™t know what'€™s going to happen in the future,'€ she says.

'€œHowever, as a gossip show host I often present news about celebrities who are getting divorced. I don'€™t want that to happen to me, so I must be careful before making such decisions, as when I get married I want it to last forever.'€
