N

ational Police chief Gen. Sutarman hasconfirmed that two suspectedterrorists who were allegedly involved in a recent shoot-out with the police inPoso were affiliated with one of the police'€™s most wanted terrorists, Santoso.

"Yes [they belong to Santoso'€™s group]," the former detective chief said Friday as quoted by kompas.com.

He added that the terrorist group had undergone paramilitary training in Gunung Biru, Poso. '€œThese people always move around to find safer spots.'€

The bodies of the dead terrorists are currently being held at Bhayangkara Police hospital in Palu, while the body of the Police'€™s Mobile Brigade (Brimob) member, Second Agent I Putu Satria, will be sent to Bali to be buried.

A group of Brimob officers were deployed to a location that had been deemed a terrorist training ground in Gunung Biru. These officers were then involved in a shoot-out with the terrorist group, which resulted in the death of two terrorists and an officer.
