Guess what?: Nidji dreams of action flick

Kapanlagi.com

After 13 years in the music business, pop band Nidji is seeking a new venture. '€œWe really want to be in a movie. We prefer action movies with cool fighting scenes,'€ vocalist Giring said as quoted by tribunnews.com on Thursday.

The group, consisting of Giring, guitarists Rama and Ariel, bassist Andro, drummer Andro and Randy on keyboard, was once offered a role on the silver screen.

'€œWe had to turn it down because we didn'€™t think the script and pay fit us. Shooting time requires a break from performing and it may take a month. It'€™s the business side we have to take care of,'€ said Giring.

Band members, whose songs have been used in many a movie soundtrack, said they were hoping for a movie with a plot that would leave a good impression on viewers.

'€œWe don'€™t want to be token celebrities to sell a movie. We expect a movie that we would want to watch over again, that lasts for our children to watch it in the future.'€
