ali Police are scheduled on Thursday to question the two adoptive older sisters of the deceased 8-year-old Engeline -- Yvonne Caroline Megawe and Christina Telly Megawe -- in their capacities as witnesses in connection with a child abandonment case that implicates adoptive mother Margriet Megawe.

"The two will be questioned at 10 a.m. on Thursday. We've handed over the summons to them," Teddy Raharjo, the former lawyer of the two, said Tuesday as quoted by kompas.com.

Engeline was found buried in the backyard of Margriet's house on Jl. Sedap Malam in Denpasar on June 10 after she was reported missing on May 16. (hhr)(+++)
