As a new filmmaker to watch, Putrama Tuta has recorded many achievements as a director, scriptwriter and producer.
His debut film Catatan (Harian) si Boy (Boy's Journal) became a career milestone, while the rockumentary of pop rock group Noah enriched the genre in the country's film industry.
Tuta, 33, was the producer of the recently released psychological thriller Lily, Bunga Terakhirku (Lily, My Last Flower), which he worked on after helming Ken-Andrew The Movie.
The pop biopic, which tells the story of Ken Dean Adiwinata and Andrew Darwis ' the founders of the country's largest web forum Kaskus while in their early 20s in 1997 ' is expected to hit movie theaters in January.
But there was no break for Tuta, a father of two, as he is currently filming Never Been Better, which he wrote himself.
'Thank God I still have many projects to accomplish in the coming years,' he said.
For his job he relies on mobile gadgets that have become his main working tools.
'I'm a loyalist, sort of. I stick to one brand I like, but I keep on looking for updates or the brand's new products offering better camera applications.
I make films, so it is essential to have a good camera I can bring along anytime.'

Iphone 6S Plus
Aside from its main function as a communication device, I used this smartphone to film the rockumentary Noah: Awal Semula (Noah: The Beginning). Actually, I chose this phone because it has the best camera quality, apart from because I'm used to the iOS operating system. The only reason I would replace this phone is if other products offered a better camera application.
MacBook Air
I write scripts and organize my ideas on my laptop. I use many applications on it, including Pages for documents and Keynote to create cinematic presentations.
Mobile Applications
I have many social media applications on my phone and laptop such as Instagram, Path and chat platform Whatsapp.
For work, I installed Docs 2 Go and ScriptPro that help me organizing my ideas and sharing them with my crew.
The best application is Panascout, a location scouting app that is awesomely helpful. It has all the information you need about the time of the capture, the lens and the framing of the image which you can look back at for review.
